Event Services


To request technical support or equipment for your event, please:

  1. Confirm your venue (Instructional Development does not reserve rooms on campus, to request a room, please follow the steps listed below.)
  2. Review our Policies.
  3. After receiving your room confirmation, complete the Event Support Request Form below.

Event Support Request Form

  • Fill out a Room Request form via AdAstra
    1. Login with your UCSB NetID
    2. Click the Events Tab
    3. Select Event Request
    4. Select the appropriate option from the drop-down menu
    5. Complete and submit the form
  • After you receive confirmation of your space, contact the appropriate person(s) for additional support.
    1. Isla Vista Theaters, Embarcadero Hall, Campbell Hall - use the links above for the next steps
    2. For all other campus venues - complete the Event Support Request form below
  • Additional Steps for Student Groups:
    1. Complete necessary SEAL requirements by filling out a 360 Form via Shoreline 
    2. Attend a Minor Events Committee Meeting.  During the school year, the committee meets every Wednesday from Noon-1 pm

To request event support from the Event Services Office, please fill out and submit a request form found here. All requests must be received at least 5 business days prior to the event.
