Four of the large lecture halls at UCSB (Campbell Hall, Embarcadero Hall, Interactive Learning Pavilion, and IV Theaters) are staffed by our friendly full-time audio-visual technicians and student workers. If you are teaching or holding an event in one of these halls, we highly recommend that you communicate with the full-time staff beforehand to get trained on the specialized equipment and determine your needs.
Our staff will fit you out with microphones, lighting needs, remotes, and any other technical support that you need to make your classes run smoothly. Booking, equipment and specifications for each of the staffed lecture halls is detailed on their websites below. The other large lecture halls are staffed by the Classroom Services Office, Letters and Sciences Collaborate, or by academic departments.
