Classroom Services provides reliable and effective technical support and audio/video assistance for 125+ General Assignment classrooms, large staffed lecture halls, and campus events.

You can find us at 1160 Kerr Hall, and our team is also available in various large lecture halls.

Please visit us during designated drop-in hours or submit a support ticket for assistance.


Please ensure you have verified your lectern keys and logins! Refer to our instructions and guidance for using the lecterns each quarter to confirm you have the correct key for your assigned room.

New instructors or TAs teaching in a General Assignment Classroom should visit 1160 Kerr Hall during business hours to obtain lectern logins and keys. For assistance with lectern logins, you can also visit the Tech Office Suite in the Interactive Learning Pavilion (ILP 3302).

If your assigned classroom is not listed below, please consult the Campus Classrooms Website or contact your department for room access and technical support.

Staffed Lecture Halls

Four of UCSB's largest lecture halls — Campbell Hall, Embarcadero Hall, Interactive Learning Pavilion, and IV Theaters — are supported by our dedicated team of audio-visual technicians and student assistants. If you are teaching or hosting an event in any of these halls, we recommend contacting our full-time staff in advance. They can provide training on specialized equipment and assist in determining your technical requirements.

Our team is equipped to support your needs with microphones, lighting, remote controls, and additional technical assistance to ensure your classes or events run smoothly.
